Veggies

Last year I tried my hand at vegetable gardening. Some things were great, others were not. We had loads of cherry tomatoes, but the zucchini never made it. Zucchini is supposed to be very easy and apparently you feed the whole street with just two plants, but somehow.... well, this year we try again.

Last years lovage was a miserable sight, but I know why: it was making roots all summer. So now we have so much I started giving it away. We have herbs in a tin bucket and a few grow bags (yes I know but I got lazy) Down in the garden an oregano plant is exploding, what are your thoughts on oregano-pesto?

And beans! Don't you just love beans? Last year we hadn't enough, so this year I planted much more. 48 plants to be exact. Look:

At the end you see the tomatoes, there is some lettuce and a few onions too. This picture is taken on Saturday. Just now, 3 (!) days later, I took another one. WOW!!

By the way, what do men do on a sunny Saturday? Exactly, they take care of their cars....
